Born in 1970 in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Paulo Pecora graduated in journalism from the Universidad del Salvador and took an MA in film at the Universidad d...展开el Cine (FUC) in Argentina, before working as a journalist at the Telam agency. He has made some twenty short films and music videos, including Una forma estupida de decir adius (2004), about a young man's immersion in memories of a former love affair, and 8cho (2005) which won the Best Short Film Prize at the Mar del Plata Film Festival. In 2006, he made Siemprenunca, a short film exploring the distress of a man in love with a woman who does not exist. His work has been screened at several festivals, notably the Buenos Aires Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente, the Rencontres de Toulouse, in Montevideo, Grenoble and Paris.
