The reality of our world is covered with tons of photos. In this reality we tend to perceive our reality not by itself but only through photos. Not only the imaginary substitutes the real, but the former also exceeds t...展开he latter. So my sure memory of facts goes through the process of destruction, recession and wear-out. This work is mainly about the discrepancy and consequent fissures between the image reconstructed by photos and the memory of the place in the past. The relation between the imaginary and the real creates a certain meaning but also erases any meaning with certainty by breaking memories into floating pieces.
The place in the photo was my playground and the spot where I waited for my mother when she was coming back from work. Old, solid concrete floor with no color and stains accumulating over it have gazed upon the labor of life without any facial expression. An alley with no quality became weathered with the passage of time. Now remains the empty trace of certain disappearance of something.
