Documentary about the oppression of a group of a thousand families who invaded An...展开oni Farm, a farm in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, in 1985, and their leader, Rose, a woman fighting for the right of owning a land and for elementary human rights, and who also was the mother of the first baby born in the camping site.
Based on Rose's story, a peasant without land, that, together with other 1.500 families occupied the unproductive Annoni farm, in Rio Grande do Sul, the film focus on the issue of agrarian reform in Brazil, soon after the military regime. The film shows the beginning of an important and polemic social mouvement, the MST (Mouvement of Landless Farmers). Rose gave birth to the first baby born at the camping and was killed in a strange accident.
